With formal training, including a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and a master’s in urban planning from USC, Freddy approaches each project with both technical precision and creative intuition. His professional background in creative agency work provides him with a unique perspective on branding and experiential design that complements his design sensibilities. Freddy’s work is characterized by his ability to marry functionality with a distinctive personality, creating spaces that feel both sophisticated and warmly inviting.
As a co-creator of the Fredric Alexander brand and studio space in downtown Las Vegas, Freddy is passionate about designing environments that respect and enhance the natural environment while pushing creative boundaries. ALEXANDER
Alexander is the Co-Founder and Principal Designer at Fredric Alexander, where he merges his creative intuition with strategic design expertise to transform spaces across Las Vegas. With a background forged from personal resilience and creative problem-solving, Alex developed his design sensibilities early, discovering design’s power to bring order and beauty to chaos while growing up in Southeast Asia. This foundation evolved through eight years with the renowned Las Vegas production Le Rêve, where he honed his theatrical understanding of space and visual impact.
Alex’s signature approach begins with deep listening and what he calls “the clean edit”—helping clients uncover the beauty in their existing possessions while envisioning bold new possibilities. Known for his sophisticated yet approachable aesthetic, he creates environments that marry timeless elegance with unexpected elements. Alex’s commitment to community extends beyond design through Fredric Alexander Headquarters, the downtown creative hub he established with partner Freddy Godinez, where they foster artistic collaboration and host nonprofit events.
